Why Core and Fire
Defines Us

Why Core ~ The Core represents alignment — integrity, awareness, and values that anchor us when pressure rises. True leadership is not reactive; it’s grounded and centered.

Why Fire ~ Fire transforms through action. It reveals what’s authentic, fuels drive, and pushes leaders to refine what’s weak and illuminate what’s strong.

Together, Core + Fire symbolize leadership that creates progress through clarity and accountability, not noise or control.

Reimagining Leadership

CoreFire Movement exists to develop leaders who act with integrity, think critically, and lead with accountability that builds trust and lasting impact — at work, at home, and in the world.

  • Leadership begins with accountability — to self, truth, and those we impact.

  • Real change doesn't come from titles — it comes from disciplined character.

  • Strength and empathy are not opposites; both are required to build trust that lasts.

  • Authentic leadership means aligning intention with action, even when it’s uncomfortable.

Our Roots - Peace through PIE

Everything we do began at a table — people gathering with courage, curiosity, and an openness that reminds us how much we share beneath the surface.

Peace through PIE grew because of those moments. What started as neighbors sharing pie became a community tradition where stories, culture, recipes and connection helped us see one another more clearly. Those gatherings taught us something essential: when people feel welcomed and seen, leadership takes root in a different way. Values deepen. Differences soften. And peace becomes something we practice, not just talk about.

That spirit shaped the pathway into what is now the CoreFire Movement. Peace through PIE continues

as one of its signature programs — carrying forward the heart, the tables, the laughter, the shared meals, and the stories that first brought us together.

CoreFire simply extends that same spirit into new initiatives--CoreFire Leadership, Ignite Youth, PIE's Root to Table, and Fresh Roots. These spaces help people lead with integrity, awareness, and heart in their families, workplaces, and communities. The work is bigger now, but its foundation remains the same: belonging creates the conditions where people can rise.

The table started it.
The Movement carries it forward — and we continue the journey together.

Maybe you’ve felt it — something is off.

The world feels louder, faster, and harder to trust. Many people are unsure what to say, how to respond, or where to begin.

CoreFire Movement exists for people ready to grow from the inside out. We believe leadership already lives within you — not as a title, but as a quiet truth waiting to be strengthened.

Our programs help adults, youth, families, and communities build grounded leadership through self-awareness, integrity, connection, culture, and care.

Because leadership is shifting.
Our families need it.
Our communities need it.
Our children need to see it lived.

CoreFire meets you where you are, honors your story, and helps you lead with courage, clarity, and humanity.

An EcoSystem of Programs

CoreFire Movement is built around the belief that leadership is shaped in everyday places, in how we know ourselves, how we guide children, how we gather, how we honor culture, and how we care for one another through food and community.

Through CoreFire Leadership, Ignite Youth, Peace through PIE, PIE's Root to Table, and Fresh Roots, our programs invite people to grow with purpose, connect with dignity, and practice leadership in ways that feel human, grounded, and deeply needed.

Adult Leadership Pathway

Leadership begins within. The CoreFire Leadership Series equips adults to lead with clarity, emotional intelligence, and accountability — in workplaces, organizations, at home, and in community life.

Through practical labs, reflective tools, and communication frameworks, participants learn to align values with action and strengthen trust wherever they lead.

Youth Leadership Pathway

Ignite Youth empowers children to see leadership as responsibility, not position. Rooted in the CoreFire framework, it develops five key leadership traits — courage, steady character, bridge-building, reflection, and inclusion.

Through age-appropriate stages — Sparks (K–2), Flames (3–5), and Trailblazers (6–8) — Through small daily habits, each child learns to turn character into action — at school, at home, and beyond.

CoreFire Leadership

Grows Through

our Community Roots

The CoreFire Movement brings three community-centered programs alive by focusing on what matters most:

  • Strengthening our everyday connections

  • Expanding our sense of a shared community

  • Growing the cultural understanding that feeds our collective wellbeing

Together, these are the roots that sustain authentic leadership.

Peace through PIE

Growing a Connected Community

At a Peace through PIE (PTPIE), whether you call it a social, a gathering, or a celebration, everyone has a seat at the table. These shared tables bring together people of all backgrounds to connect through food, story, and understanding.

We invite you to bring this sweet tradition to life right where you live. Whether you host a get-together, join an existing one, or support our work behind the scenes, you are helping spread peace—one slice at a time.

Root to Table

Where Culture, Food, History and Story Connect Us.

Root to Table, an initiative under PIE, brings people together to explore culture through food, story, history, and shared experiences. As we taste new flavors, make dishes, and learn the traditions behind them, we expand our palate and discover how food carries the truth of where people come from, what they have preserved, and how they have found belonging across generations.

Through each shared meal and story, we build a deeper appreciation for the histories, cultures, and people that enrich our communities.

Fresh Roots

For Food Equity & Wellness Leaders

Fresh Roots invites youth and families to explore how food nourishes our bodies, shapes our choices, and connects us to culture, community, and care. Through hands-on experiences, we learn how nutrition supports the way we live, learn, and lead — while also noticing how access to fresh, healthy food is not the same for every family or neighborhood.

Fresh Roots helps us see food not just as fuel, but as identity, wellness, responsibility, and a pathway toward stronger communities.
